There are only about 40,000 Tasmanian Devils left in the wild
Tasmanian devils are cousins with the other Australian animal the Kangaroo.
But Tasmanian Devils are much more ferocious around people and while competing for food.

Tasmanian devils stay in old burrows in rainforest during the day asleep. At
night they are active hunting to get food and they blend in with the darkness
because of there short black fur and white patchs around its bod. Tasmanian devils can see in the
dark which is good for hunting.

Tasmanian devils can live up to 5 years in the wild and can live up to 8 years in the zoo
Tasmanian devils are usally 1 foot tall and can grow up to 2 feet long by
an adult age
